How long does the building process typically take?

The duration of the building process can vary depending on the size and complexity of the home. On average, from the start of construction to completion, it can take approximately 8-15 months. We provide a detailed construction schedule and keep you informed every step of the way through our client portal.

How do I get started with a project?

If you don’t have any documentation, get in touch and we can recommend a trusted team of consultants to start this process for you. You will need plans, survey, engineering, soil test and an energy rating report for us to provide you with a comprehensive quote for your project. Alternatively, if you have your documentation complete and all you need is a final quote, get in touch and we can complete a comprehensive quote for you for a fee.

Do you work with clients who already have architectural plans?

If you already have a set of plans and supporting documentation, we can absolutely work with you. If the documentation is finished, we can complete a comprehensive building quote for you at a fee. Please note, should you sign a building contract with Eccles Homes, this quote fee is credited back to you. If you are after costing guidance at concept stage, we can complete a preliminary cost estimate using our third party software, ProCalc.

How do you communicate with clients during the project?

We utilise BuildXact, a project management software, to efficiently oversee all projects at Eccles Homes. As our client, you'll receive access to your own client portal. This portal serves as the central hub for all communication related to your building project. Here, we provide fortnightly updates directly from the site, complete with photos. You'll also receive regular scheduling updates to keep you informed about the projects progress. Additionally, all essential documentation for your build is accessible through the portal.

Furthermore, we schedule regular site meetings where you can meet with our dedicated site supervisor. These meetings cover crucial stages of the construction process, such as pre-plaster walkthroughs and consultations. They ensure that all services meet your expectations, and any necessary adjustments can be discussed and implemented promptly.
